Terms and Conditions

We will ask you for payment first before we make your order.

1) We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any commission request.
2) No refunds are given if a request is cancelled after payment is made.
If for some reason, we find we are unable to make the doll after payment is made, we will give a full refund.
3) The commissioner cannot change a request after it has been made and the final designs has been confirmed.
4)You acknowledge that our works are NOT suitable for children.
5) If we don't receive your payment within 10 days from the time we requested you to, we will take you off the waiting list.
6) All commissioners agree to pay full shipping costs on their order.
7) No returns.
8) If your package gets lost, we won't be responsible for it. (If you're worried about this, have the item tracked)

Commission Process

1) Copy + paste this email template.

Name: (Your real name or username)
Character name: (Name of the character you want made)
Image references: (A picture of the character front & back, if possible)
Plushie style: (The style you want the plushie to be in)
Additional information: (Facial expression, accessories wanted, removable items, anything you feel you need to let me know, etc)
Shipping location: (Where will the plushie be shipped to?)

Then send it to sequin_jar[at]yahoo.co.uk. You don't have to use the template above, but it just makes things a little easier for me to see what you want, <3

2) I'll email you back, letting you know if I can do your request or not. If I can do it, I'll tell you the price. Usually I try to reply within a week.

3) If you're happy with the price, I'll ask you for payment first. Normally, I'll wait ten days for you to send the payment. If payment is not received in ten days, I'll consider your commission cancelled.

4) Once payment is received, you'll go onto a commission slot and I'll begin to make your order. This can take from a few days or up to a month depending on the complexity of the order and other commissions ongoing. I'll keep you updated on your order by email (with photos).

5) When the order is finished, I'll ask to you to confirm your postal address, and then I'll post your order off to you! Yay! <3

All items are made in a smoke and pet free environment (unless you consider siblings as pets :P).

A well done amigurumi-focused tutorial, good especially if you've never crocheted at all and you're more interested in crocheting toys rather then clothes.

Crochet Central crochet
I think this has to be the biggest crochet pattern directories on the internet.

Knitting Central knitting
Same as above, but for knitting patterns.

Lion Brand crochet/knitting
If you've been to a search engine and searched for patterns, you may have already come across this site. It has a good variety of well-made patterns for crochet and knitting, but you'll have to sign up for an account (which is free) to get the patterns.

Geek Central crochet/amigurumi techniques
There's a basic free human amigurumi pattern here if you're starting out. Also has a nice tutorial for doing embroidery thread styled hair.

A Crochet Toy Chest crochet
Well the title 'A Crochet Toy Chest' pattern much sums it up. A directory for free crochet toy patterns on the 'net.

☆ How do you price my order?
Price is mainly decided based on how much work and time we feel we'll need to put into making the order. So obviously the more complex the character design, the longer it will take to make. Other factors will be hair, removable items/clothing and details.

☆ How much do you charge for shipping?
Shipping prices vary depending on your location and the weight/size of the item you're buying, so we can't give a definite price. Though normally for a single plushie, shipping is often under the $10 mark.

☆ How long does it take to make an order?
It can take from a few days or up to a month depending on the complexity of the order and other commissions ongoing. Usually once we start working on the commission, we'll ~~spam~~ regularly email you a progress report on a set date we've agreed upon.
If you're interested in commissioning but have a deadline (e.g. it's a gift for someone's birthday), it's usually good to give us a heads up at least a couple of months before hand.

☆ Do you need references when making a doll?
Yes. It's important that you try and provide us good images of the whole character, front and back including details of any extras you want made, like accessories, weapons, etc.

☆ Do you accept original character commissions?
Yes! We're open to doing original characters, usually it helps if you have drawings of the character's outfit, hair style, etc, or a well written description.

☆ What payment methods do you accept?
At the moment we only accept Paypal.

☆ Can I pay you after you make my order?
No. We must receive all of your payment for the making of your order before we begin working on it (this is to prevent people changing their minds, and leaving us with an unwanted order).

☆ Do you ship outside of the UK?
Yup!

☆ How long will it take to receive my order?
If you live in the UK it'll usually take 3-5 working days, International 5-15 working days.
